Pip Foweraker

Pip Foweraker is the founder of Certes, building durable infrastructure and support for AI safety researchers and other work on catastrophic and existential risk. Drawing on experience in operations and governance across finance, government, and nonprofits, including serving as COO of Ashgro, Pip leads Certes' strategic direction and operations.

Tushar Paradkar

Candidate Director

Governance expert based in Melbourne with extensive experience in organizational governance, risk management, and strategic oversight.

James Gauci

Candidate Director

AI executive with deep expertise in artificial intelligence systems, technology strategy, and organizational leadership.

Amy Goss

Candidate Director

Accessibility and inclusion expert bringing critical perspectives on equitable design, diverse representation, and inclusive organizational practices.

Governance Framework

The Certes Institute Board of Directors provides strategic oversight, ensures organizational accountability, and guides the institute's mission to evaluate and address catastrophic and existential risks.

Board Meetings

The Board meets quarterly to review organizational performance, approve strategic initiatives, and ensure alignment with the institute's mission. Additional meetings are convened as needed to address urgent matters or strategic opportunities.
